The European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions will launch the Pilot action on Partnerships for Regional Innovation on 17 May 2022, announcing the 39 successful applicants for this pilot project. This initiative responds to the urgent call of the European Green Deal to address the unprecedented challenge posed by climate change and other societal challenges related to sustainability in ways that strengthen social and territorial cohesion.
