The September ENVE commission meeting will take place on Thursday 28 September 2023 from 11.00 a.m. to 17.30 p.m. and Friday, 29 September 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. (Brussels time) in the Gran Hotel Miramar, Malaga (Spain) and participation will be fully in person.
The general public will also be able to follow the meeting remotely via webstreaming.
Thursday 28 September 2023 from 11.00 a.m. to 17.30 p.m
In the morning, the agenda foresees a debate on "Green Deal and Governance" followed by the adoption of the CoR Opinion on "Towards a multilevel Green Deal governance: the revision of the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action regulation", Rapporteur Joško KLISOVIC (HR/PES) and the exchange of views on the opinion on "Soil Monitoring and Resilience(Soil Monitoring Law)", Rapporteur Frida NILSSON (SE/RE).
In the afternoon, the agenda foresees a debate on the "Green Deal and new energy sources" followed by the adoption of the CoR Opinion on the "European Hydrogen Bank", Rapporteur Ariana Maria CENSI (IT/PES). Another debate on "Green Deal and coastal areas" will complete the political agenda of the day.
The first day meeting will conclude with the Green Deal Helpdesk.

Friday, 29 September 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
On the second day the agenda foresees a high-level debate on "Towards a Global Green Deal", including high-level representative from the hosting Spanish authorities, representative from United Nations and from major global networks of cities and region. It will be followed by the exchange of views on the opinion on the "Green Deal and Health", Rapporteur Juan Manuel MORENO BONILLA (ES/EPP).
