EuroPCom 2018: 9th European Public Communication Conference  
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 
The 9th edition of EuroPCom took place on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 November 2018. With the 2019 European Parliament elections ahead and distrust in the EU still dominating national discourse and elections in the Member States, fostering democratic engagement and advocating for the European project seem to be decisive elements in 2018 for ensuring the future of the EU. This edition of EuroPCom therefore had the title "Campaigning for Europe" and provided a unique connecting platform in preparation for the election year ahead.
 
Over 1.100 communication professionals from all the EU Member States and beyond attended the conference to share their views at this largest event on public communication in Europe!

This year's conference sessions followed three main thematic clusters:
 
 
An innovative mix of well known and new formats was set up for this edition. Workshops, Ideas Labs, mini trainings, EuroPComTalks, an interactive EuroPCom Market Place and an Open Space gave participants the opportunity to make the most of their learning and networking experience at the conference.
