In the context of preparing for the British government’s activation of Article 50, this workshop will provide participants and speakers with an opportunity to discuss and share ideas on the possible implications of Brexit on the EU’s regional policy and the UK’s own regional development.

The workshop will examine questions related to the structure of the future policy, implications for the EU budget, impact on European Territorial Cooperation, how might the UK develop its own economic development policy for its nations and regions, what can we learn from non-EU countries and how they deliver regional development, and how should the EU adapt its regional policy in response to Brexit?
