EER Jury

After receiving applications from regions, the EER Jury will take into account the specific characteristics of the candidate region concerned (i.e. its competences in the area of business policy, its entrepreneurial potential, whether the proposed actions are sustainable, credible and support the development of the overall entrepreneurial culture within the region over a period of time), as well as the overall presentation of the EER candidate's Vision Plan.

The Jury is composed of twelve members (experts in the field and politicians) and is made up of representatives of the Committee of the Regions, the European Commission Directorate-General for Regional Policy, DG Enterprise and Industry and DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee as well as Eurochambres, UEAPME and Social Economy Europe.
