Cross-border, transnational or inter-regional cooperation to strengthen EU economic and social cohesion is facilitated by European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC). Public entities from at least two Member States can set up an EGTC.
EGTCs manage and implement territorial cooperation programmes or projects with or without EU funding.
