The second Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) Peer-to-Peer Event on Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), hosted by CoR member Dr Babette Winter, will be held in Jena, Germany, on 10-11 November.
KETs are a key driver for innovation and therefore for jobs and economic growth. On European as well as on regional level there are strategies and instruments to support innovation activities and innovation ecosystems (funding, financing, legislation, integration of stakeholders).
The workshop is set up to provide a platform to learn from example, brainstorm together and discuss on ways and possibilities to combine different supporting instruments, on how to connect and cooperate at European level but also to address challenges.
Confirmed speakers include CoR SEDEC Chair Yoomi Renström, CoR members and representatives of the European Commission, MEPs Costanze Krehl and Jakob von Weizsäcker, as well as representatives of research institutions.
