Athens Citizens' Debate - "Without panels: discussion about Europe"

The City of Athens and the European Committee of the Regions invite you to the Athens citizens' debate entitled "Without panels: discussion about Europe" and taking place at the Technopolis venue on June 19, 2017.

The Athens citizens' debate will become an ‘agora’ for multistakeholders - citizens, civil society organizations, EU Officials, Local Authority Leaders - to meet and discuss about Europe. The event has 3 main objectives: (a) To showcase the citizens’ own initiatives to address Athens’ multiple challenges, (b) to underline that these initiatives and actions are at the core of the European spirit promoting the principles of solidarity, transparency and collaboration on which the EU is founded, and (c) to report citizens’ proposals, ideas and concerns back to the Committee of the Regions in the context of its “Reflecting on Europe” campaign.

The Athens Citizens’ Debate will be held in a fully participatory way, creating the conditions for a truly interactive dialogue between citymakers and local and European authorities representatives.

Those interested in participating in the Athens Citizens' Debate are kindly invited to fill in the online survey that is currently being carried out by the European Committee of the Regions in the context of its campaign "Reflecting on Europe" through the following link: http://cor.europa.eu/debate.go
The results of the survey will be presented during the event.
