Strong local and regional authorities form one of the pillars of an effective and well-governed democratic state. But not only: local authorities can be a driving force behind participative approaches and the spread of ideas and knowledge. Therefore the EU is extending the support of municipal development of the partner countries.
The seminar will present tangible schemes focused on economic development and energy savings in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine and reveal the planned initiatives of the European Commission in this field for 2015-2016 years. The seminar will also present the practical examples of Entrepreneurial Communities from Moldova and Belarus.
