Open Day of the European Institutions

On Saturday 6 May 2017, European institutions open their doors to celebrate the Europe Day. On this occasion, the European Committee of the Regions will celebrate Europe's diversity with a festival of regions and cities.

Join the celebration, come and experience Europe's diversity, and get an insight into the European Assembly of regional and local representatives!

The excellence of EU regions and cities will be at the core of this 2017 edition with numerous stands offering innovative activities to interact with visitors and show both the variety of regions and cities and their very specificity.

The public will also be invited to discover the European Union's Assembly of regional and local representatives and learn about its role and activities (5th floor: presentation of the European Committee of the Regions and information stand; stands of its political groups).

Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to attend the conference "Listening (to) Europe: Experiences and prospects of pro-European initiatives", from
12 noon to 1.30 p.m. in room JDE 52 (5th floor), and take part in a lively debate!

VisitBrussels, the communications agency for tourism in the Brussels-Capital Region, is organising a little train which will circulate between the participating European institutions and help the public circulate in the Brussels' European quatter.final list of regions and cities OD2017- v2.pdffinal list of regions and cities OD2017- v2.pdf
