Who can use the Library?
- Civil servants, temporary agents and trainees from any EU institution, organe or agency.
- External visitors.
Our Library collection and services
We aim to provide fast access to information and to answer your information requests.
For this purpose we have placed at your disposal:
- pcs and wi-fi connection,
- a reference collection,
- services as loans, photocopies, etc.
- assistance in your information search by qualified staff.
Our multilingual collection (around 10.000 volumes) is focused on federalism, regionalism, the principle of subsidiarity as well as the areas of mandatory consultation: economic and social cohesion, trans-European infrastructure networks, health, education, culture, employment policy, social policy, vocational training, environment and transport.
We also have at your disposal around 360 periodicals regarding the different fields of activity of the Committee of the Regions, which can be consulted in paper version at the library reading room and/or on-line.
External visitors
The Committee of the Regions' Library is also open to specialists and researchers (professionals, staff from regional offices, civil servants from EU member countries, university students, etc.) who wish to consult publications about federalism, decentralisation, subsidiarity…
